  1. the shuttle bus between terminals are free. sometimes I give tips to the driver for taking care loading and unloading the baggages.

    1. Yep good call. I tried to tip the shuttle staff last time I used it and they refused. They were nice and friendly. Maybe they didn’t want to look bad because they know what goes on at NAIA. Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. the notorious manila taxi scam, just ridiculous. this and bullet scam just put a lot of people from coming and or leaving the PH with an unpleasant visit, me included

    1. Yep it is very unfortunate. Better to warn people so they know what to expect and be careful of. Maybe the airport authority or Philippine Government will do something about it in future. Thanks for watching =)

    2. you can’t do bullet scam under duterte or any other scams or else you Gona be in jail..official airport metered taxis are posted & MARKED outside the airport…airport has public premium luxury buses too for people who has multiple suitcases but only for specific destinations like makati, bay area etc..grabtaxi has kiosk too….there’s are no reason to be scam as there are various types of vehicles transport outside the airport

  3. Just landed T 1 got yellow cab he asked 500 to makati I agreed I’m not looking to beat them up , they got to make a living

    1. Sure, sometimes you don’t want to wait around in the heat. Ironically that yellow cab could lose his job for doing that. If you prefer that style maybe try the Fixed Rate taxis. Helps support a more honest approach as well. Thanks for watching =)

    2. B Adventures Travel Vlogs your right a yellow cab can get in trouble , that’s why I noticed he ran the meter it was 350 so I paid a little more but there was no lineup , as they say time is money

  4. Seriously recommend you try Uber (unless they have banned it). Last year I took an Uber from airport to Makati for 271 peso and it was a really nice SUV = Fortuner

    1. Buy an internet sim at the airport usually P500/2 weeks smart. It is useful to have internet on the go when strolling around the city.

    2. Uber are as bad as the scam artists at the terminal… totally disregard all the rules and regulations that legitimate taxi drivers have to strictly abide by. This is why more and more cities across the world are banning them.

  5. Very cool room you had very different from a traditional hotel room. Great advice all around you gave on all the different aspects of the Philippines. Those who have not been to the Philippines would do better by adhering to your advice. I hope to be there again soon would be cool to do a collab with you. Take care my friend be safe talk to you later.

    1. Thank you and really appreciate the feedback. That’s the idea, PH is very beautiful but better to warn people of things to be careful of as well. Keep in touch then its nice to do collabs in country ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. Good video sound advice, it’s best to be on your guard in any city and that includes Manila
I live in Manila pasig and it’s a great city, thanks for sharing.

    1. Really appreciate the feedback, especially from someone actually living in Manila. Thanks for watching =)

  7. Thanks for your advice about the Taxi scam from Manila airport. I’m Traveling to Manila on November and I heard you mention Uber and Grabcar. Would you know where their car park is at Terminal 1?

    1. Glad you found it helpful. No sorry maybe another viewer can chime in. I’ve used Uber around Makati Manila, but not from the airport. My phone wasn’t working otherwise I would have. But good question lets wait and see ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. Yep it is noticeable. Things are slowly improving, but I’ll talk more about that later. Thanks for watching ๐Ÿ˜‰

  8. Gotta love the excellent Taxi service in Manila (insert sarcastic tone) ๐Ÿ™‚ Very useful tips for new arrivals to the Philippines… catching a Taxi at NAIA for first timers can be a bit overwhelming.

    1. Oh brother that is an understatement…previous times it has been a gauntlet of vendors and opportunists trying to grab any foreigner fresh off the plane. But that said it has been improving…the illegal Colorum (fake taxi) guy even smiled for the camera lol. Thanks for watching my friend ๐Ÿ˜‰

    2. I have to say, on my first trip to Manila, I got taken by a cab driver (my fiance’s brother-in-law later informed me…lol). Charged me P3000 from the airport to Malate. There were 5 of us in the cab, so I guess it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

    3. +Guthery Life I can happen to anyone, they can very aggressive and good at tricking new arrivals. Yeah at least you shared the cost with your group of 5. Maybe try a Fixed Rate taxi. They often use a marked van or maxicab for groups anyway. Thanks for watching =)

    4. SezStyle yes very true many unscrupulous or dishonest taxi drivers at MIA….for first time visitors plan ahead for some credible guide to meet or assist at the airport….its so shameful many filipinos are not following the rules of the land….its one reason why the new administration trying to make changes for enjoy a safety environment

  9. Great video B I see the Clipper is on Kalayaan Ave and I normally stay just up the street at the City Garden, great travel advice as always and great video.

    1. Hey that’s cool, I have walked past there a few times. Looks like a nice place, pool and everything. How have you found it?

    2. I just found it one day on Agoda and my wife has a cousin living just across the street so we normally stay there on the first couple of days after I fly into Manila…it’s so easy to get to from NAIA.

  10. Thanks for all the tips and information on how to get taxis in manila. PAL terminal as soon as you get out from the arrival area there’s a yellow cab office next to the arrival sign. You go in tell the customer service where you’re going and they’ll give you the rate right away and you pay it right there. They call their driver, you hop in and he’ll drive you to your destination. If ever I’ll use NAIA I will surely follow your advice. Very informative video, thanks B.

    1. Oh wow I didn’t know about the yellow cab office. I’ll try find it next time, thanks for sharing. Manila’s NAIA…they are slowly improving…but you got to be careful ๐Ÿ˜‰

  11. Dude, I always take the white taxi at the 3rd floor at the DEPARTING taxi drop off area. The same place they drop you off when you leave Manila.. just hop in when someone gets off. It takes less than 10 minutes ๐Ÿ™‚ Yellow taxis are so expensive they charge as much as American taxis.

    1. yep that’s what I do also …but you will still get the arse holes that tyr and scam you oh very busy today sir etc :0

    1. Probably right lol. They have had a monopoly on transport for so many years. Thanks for watching ๐Ÿ˜‰

  12. I had taxsi to airport but I come a cross with a bustard who want to make extra few pesos he take me round and round than I miss my flight .I had to buy new ticket I used to feel sorry for the power of the people but now I have no sympathy for pinoy people .They do anything for a few pesos.

    1. Sorry you had a bad experience. At least you finally got out of that taxi ok. Any country has dishonest taxi’s or people like this. They get bad Karma so it will always backfire on them later. Thanks for sharing your experience ๐Ÿ˜‰

    2. Tatarhan turan bro next time use google map so you will know, how far that place and no need to pay extra pesos use technology buddy

  13. Good advice.cherrs for that!-
For airports ,I always walk outside and away from any airport to catch a regular taxi in order to avoid the airport surcharge .

  14. if the line is really long, can we just walk out on to the main street and grab a regular taxi out there? or hard to find or worse on scams ?
