I have Caribbean, African, Hispanic, and black friends since end of junior high school and have learned to ID accents- NYC is TRULY the melting pot IF you venture outside your neighborhood. The “twang” is an immediate giveaway IF you should hear the person. These scammers stupidly think you can’t ID them. DO NOT give scammers a chance regardless of race/religion/ethnicity.
