  1. This is how playlist live is now. You have to buy your $100+ tickets and then they will announce when you can log in and try and sign up for meet and greets that fill up in 30 minutes. It’s awful. Especially if you’re an adult.

  2. Hey kids 🙂
Come to my van… I got some minecraft youtubers in there.. you’ll get to meet them
    *wink wink*

    1. Nah, this one didn’t lead to a guy losing millions of his own money. And at least someone was happy at this event, admittedly the happy people were the ones making money.

    1. Aisling Crowe it’s a joke haha because WillNE told JaackMaate to have a day off for complaining about HelloWorld ;D

    1. vlinnstone 69 I actually think he said the negatives of Hello world because some people actually enjoyed it and got to meet the YouTubers, soo………

    2. +Shanzeh Khan That doesn’t justify the fact that a majority of people spent so much money on nothing

    1. I went to vidcon but I was 12 and I went more for the industry events and the booths and stuff. Just for the whole experience really. The second it became a ton of young girls chasing and attacking youtubers, that’s when I never went back. I went to one of the first few vidcons and I remember meeting pewdiepie in line for food trucks. Meeting youtubers just walking around. You could just talk to youtubers and hang out with them and it was awesome. The youtubers didn’t need body guards or anything. It was just causal and fun. Now it’s ridiculous. It was also a three day event. There were panels and events and it was so much fun. It was like comic con for YouTube fans. I loved it. Now it’s drama and girls attacking youtubers and it’s insane.

    2. Dodie Clark did a meet and greet for free. Everyone who bought tickets for her concert (which were only £12) were put into a draw and 50 (per concert) or so got to meet her for free. This is the way it should be done.

  3. Man I don’t know why but I love it when smaller British youtubers talk about the other bigger British youtubers.

    1. And those actors are, you know, actually famous and are part of major productions that require talent. Sorry not sorry, I’d pay major money to meet certain people at Comicon and I wouldn’t pay close that much to meet a fucking YouTube star.

    2. LAST-LINE yeah in Australia we have Supanova; it’s getting pretty pricey but I think it’s around $100 for GA and then it’s about $40 to meet which includes a professional photo with them, and autograph… considering this is in AUD and they’re actually real celebrities who came to the other side of the world…

    3. I Don’t Even Like Chai Latte’s The comicon here costs 65-100 for a weekend pass (price is lower if you buy the year before compared to the day of con) and while meeting actors usually is free with 1-3 hour lines some do charge a fee per picture or to meet them. I think there’s $100 for some and $200-300 for other ones. Depends on how money hungry the person is. Andrew Hussy was free but it was a 2 hour line.
