The ball IS under the cup underneath their feet. But you never get to flip it around yourself. Because the scammer takes it away at 0:39-0:40. He gently lifts the edge of the cup and the ball stays on the ground. Then he scopes the cup forward, picking the ball up in his hands. There are videos explaining it better but that’s exactly what happens.

in Berlin the same way I saw scam. They were from Poland and they were playing this game. Two Japanese tourist scammed by them. Later They turned to me, I said I don’t want to play. They asked where are you from, I said I’m from Poland.

Some of you are getting a little too nasty asking how can people be so stupid! but you have to understand, alot of travelers when they are in a foreign country will do these games knowing full well at the start they will lose, but its more about having an interaction with a foreigner in a foreign country. look at some of the tourists….these are people who probably have money, have good jobs, and dont need to win money off street games. so relax,they are doing it for the experience.
