Another great/informative video:

Neat little toys that danced along to music, along the Champs Elysees in Paris. Notice the crowd of adults fascinated by the simple kids toys!

Update: this is actually a scam whereby there is an invisible string attached to teh back of the boom box that makes the puppets dance. They don't dance on their own!

  1. Really?? In what sense is it a scam? Do they not dance when you try them? Or what makes them different than the ones in the video, because I can’t imagine what the trick is?

    1. peekstar after nine years I can tell you that (cause I got tricked too) they’re obviously tied with a a nylon invisible string to the scammers hand, or someone else’s to make them dance

  2. On my holiday in Spain, I encountered a hustler with those “dancing” dolls. I said to him no thanks.

  3. @frederikteglhus I saw it in new york like, 15 years ago and i was about 8 years old and i wanted one so fucking bad.

  4. My friend was stupid enough to buy one of these years ago in Liverpool, he wasn’t too happy when he got home and tried it, I could not stop laughing

    1. Vodka XD i think you don’t understand what edgy is and i made the joke last month ago thats when tide pods were a thing dumbass.

  5. It`s a scam in that he drew your attention, brought you to a stop and has a flock of chickens to now pluck…

  6. I am fucking laughing myself off right now because my friend and I just got scammed by this haha. And we bought 4 of those for 5 euros. But it was my friend who bought it coz i told him so haha.

    1. Jean Morales Well it’s obvious that cardboard doesn’t move by itself. Surely that’s not what the seller claims. Who on Earth would believe that?

    2. acid junkie The seller claims that they move and are sound activated, its not until after you buy it that you find out its literally just a piece of carboard

  7. The scammers use a thin almost invisible fishing line from the back of the radio and attach the other end of the line to a wall or something, at the back of the “puppets” are little hooks that hang on the wire , the line vibrates off a little switch from the radio that moves the whole show , I almost fell for the scam if it wasn’t for a local who explained and showed me , stay away from this scam

    1. Lylexd Want to know another scam? A person walks up to you and just cuts out you from paper and then give it to you and demands 10€, you can’t say no.

    2. longjohns
It is a scam. The seller does not tell the people this and he advertieses it as just a magic dancing paper doll thing that dances when you turn on music. He never tells amyone about how he makes them dance.

  8. i got one before these even got popular about 15 years ago. it moved on a string you put on your finger and thats how it dances

  9. okay, if you bought this cause you actually believed music make those things become alive then you deserved to get your money stolen

    1. Martin Kriletich i mean….. technically the music does make them dance? with the help of a string of course

  10. People fall for this deserve to be scammed. It’s the money finding it’s way to the right hands, that’s how money works.

    1. Its todays millenial generation for you.. Stealing is okay as long as the person youre stealing from is dumb enough. Cant wait until the next world war

  11. money naturally wants to move towards the hands of smart people, i see nothing wrong with this. People who seriously expect paper puppets to magically dance in thin air deserve to get scammed so they learn and wake up just a little bit.

    1. HellOWorld Monet naturally wants to move in the hands of shameless scammers, not smart people you dumbass

    2. let’s be honest, even if it were real, it is still pointless and would entertain you for all of 2 minutes, so in many ways he is actually selling more value in the way of a life lesson – don’t trust dancing Disney characters.

    3. HellOWorld scammers are dirty I don’t know how you can find excuses to defend them. By this logic ponzi schemes, stock fraud and many types of frauds would be okay since they should’ve known better.

    1. sudhanshu singh Hey!! I’m Zak and I live in Paris and I can tell you that the best, most respectful, sophisticated, friendly, honest and helpful migrants are the Muslim migrants. The rest are very nice too. However, the real problem comes from the uneducated and poor migrants who can come from anywhere in the world. That’s the real problem not where they are from

    2. muslim rapefugees have destroyed France.
they destroyed Western Europe, you cant go out at night without fearing for your life in Rome, Berlin, Paris…
      parasites.

    3. skankhunt 42 False. They cannot be considered Muslims. Rape is punishable by death in extreme cases in Islam unless the victim forgives the rapist. Those sick, pathetic people leave their countries because nobody wants them in their countries either. However, we also have the same kinds of people in France

    4. They follow the Quran. They go to mosques. They pray to the moon god Allah. Stop bullshiting.
They are on a holy mission to convert and kill the Christian Europeans.
France, Germany, etc are not shitholes now just because of “a few” muzzies, but because there are millions of them, and they keep coming.
